| BC Employment and Assistance Web Orientation Employment BC Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance September 24, 2004 Applicants to these programs must complete an orientation session as part of the application procedure. There are a few exceptions to this requirement, including applicants who: have a physical or mental condition that prevents them from attending;
apply for the Child in the Home of a Relative benefit; or,
are 65 or more years of age. The orientation session will provide details about the necessary documents, income and assets levels, eligibility rules and work expectations when applying for BC Employment and Assistance. You can attend a session at an Employment and Assistance office or complete a web session. Web sessions are offered in a number of translations. The English and translation versions have also been made available in audio recordings.
